June 2008

Parents,

Oftentimes during the summer our kids spend too much time sitting at home and not getting enough exercise.  We have heard it before from the kids, "it is too hot outside".  Well that is why we have the summer league.   We want our kids to stay active and keep playing hockey year round, plus we are inside in the comfort of an air conditioned facility.

If you are not part of the summer league you should come watch a game.  We have a unique format, with each team being made up of different aged kids.  The games are longer, 60 minutes instead of 40, and there are mandatory line changes called by the refs.

The summer season is less formal than the fall and spring seasons.  We do not keep stats and do not hold practices, that's right just games.

So if you have missed out on playing in our summer league this season please consider it next summer.

Please check the website for other fun upcoming summer activities.
